The BL7700 ECP is our solution to the heavy duty specification, ideal for high traffic areas.
The BL7700 ECP models have a built-in key override in the lever/knob handle; this utilises a SFIC (small format interchangeable core) cylinder. This is a new type of key override system for Borg Locks, whereby rotation of the key engages the lever/knob handle, making it ideal for use with potentially heavily sprung third-party locks. The keypad lever/knob is free rotating and only engages with the clutch and 8mm spindle drive until the correct code of key is entered.
This variation on the BL7700 series does not come fitted with any latch and is designed to work with a pre-fitted set up or as a replacement keypad.
